Curved Text Generator

Curved Text for Instagram

Curve a word on your phone, save it to your camera roll, and drop it onto a Story or a post with no white box around the letters. No app to install and no account.

On a phone, start to finish

  1. Type your words in Your text.
  2. Tap a shape. Arc is the one to use for text that hugs the top of a Story; Circle makes a ring you can put around a face or a product.
  3. Drag Curve with your thumb until the bend matches what you are going to put it on.
  4. Pick a font and a colour. If the text will sit on a photo, set an Outline a few pixels wide in the opposite colour — that is what keeps white lettering readable over a bright sky.
  5. Leave Transparent background ticked, choose 1600 × 1000 or 3200 × 2000, and tap Download PNG.
  6. On iPhone or iPad: the page shows you the finished image — press and hold it, then choose Save to Photos. On Android: the file lands in Downloads and appears in your gallery.

The whole editor is built for a thumb: the sliders and the download button are sized for touch, and the page does not ask you to sign in at any point.

Putting it into a Story or a post

  1. Start the Story or post as usual and add your photo or colour background.
  2. Add the PNG on top — the sticker tray on the Story editor lets you bring in a picture from your camera roll.
  3. Pinch to size it and drag it where you want. Because the background of the PNG is empty, the photo shows through around the letters instead of a white rectangle sitting on it.

There are no Story or post size presets in this version — the canvas is one 800 × 500 shape exported at up to 3200 × 2000, and you scale it inside the Instagram editor. If you need the lettering to run the full width of a Story, export at the largest size so it stays sharp when you stretch it.

What to curve

FAQ

Does this work in the Instagram app itself?

Not directly. You make the image here, save it to your phone, then add it in the app like any other picture. This curved text generator for Instagram is a web page, so there is nothing to install and nothing to connect to your account.

Will there be a white box around my text?

Not if Transparent background is ticked. That is the whole point of the transparent PNG export.

The saved image looks soft when I stretch it.

Export at 3200 × 2000 and it will hold up at Story size.

Can I use it for Reels covers or other apps?

Yes. It is an ordinary transparent PNG — anything that accepts an image will take it.
